Agreed. My Quick Access Bar items were removed, too. Not happy about that.
Interesting. Mine didn't disappear...
So much for being lucky. The v8.1.1 install blew out part of my QAB. I had 8 items I had added to the QAB, and the last 4 disappeared after installing v8.1.1.

One more reason to use accelerators, shortcuts, and POMs.
