breadcrumb proxy cant change font size

hi all,
Not sure if I'm suffering from lack of sleep but I can not for the life of me change the breadcrumb proxy font size.
I've set my stylesheet set as follows:

MadCap|breadcrumbsProxy
{
font-size: 7pt;
mc-breadcrumbs-count: 7;
}

I have set this before but want to change it. Is this set in the skin or something as well?
I have changed the font colour and it works, the 'You are here text' even the a.MCBreadcrumbsLink style just to make sure everything is updating properly, but that text size is not budging. Checked all my mediums and defaults etc - its only set in default. The links are changing size, but the You are here: and current topic name that is not a link are showing in a larger size font - what am I missing...

Ideas?
