Page number wrapping in index

Hello,

I'm tearing my hair out... Please help
The index for my project has got really large which has resulted in lots of page numbers for each index entry. Unfortunately there is something strange going on with the wrapping of the page numbers. I have tried every combination I can think of with p.Index1 and white-space and so on... I'll attach an image.

Hoping someone knows what I need to do!

I know you may not want this, but have you tried creating the Index without the leader dots, if only to see if you get similar results?
