HTML5 Search Background Color Change

Post by chunkee »

Is there a way in the skin stylesheet to change the background color of the search window to white? I have tried a few things and it is still gray. Or is this another limitation of this type of output?

If you open up your htlm5 skin to edit it, go to styles -> search input and there is a background option that will change what you want. Keep in mind that background image overrides, the gradient, and color options, so it should be set to none. Also, gradient overrides color. I've had trouble getting gradient to set to none on some settings though (you can set it but it will auto-revert to a default of some kind). If I want a solid color I've had to just set the start and end color to the same thing. So you could just set both to white.
