Hello everyone,
Is there a way to center the text top to bottom in the search input field? This includes the placeholder and any text typed into it. Presently it is at the top of the field and while it is not a big issue, it would look way better if it were centered top to bottom.

Which search box in whcih output are you referring to?
In webhelp I believe it is vertically centred.

What browser are you looking at it with?
In IE8 - which doesnt totally support HTML5, it is at the top as you describe - but in Firefox the text is vertically centred.

Thanks, Nick. That must be the problem--I am using IE v8. Unfortunately, IE is the only browser my company supports so I guess I'm going to have to live with it. Thanks again for you help. I really appreciate it.
