Not getting association of .mchelp files with MadCap

I am having some difficulties with the MadCap installation.

Here is the issue:

We use msi package to install our product. Well, madcap provided a merge module that we could add to our msi.

The issue with this merge module is that, after installing the “.mchelp” file isn’t associated with the help viewer. When we shell out to launch help, it doesn’t work.

To get around this issue, I thought that we would just call the HelpViewer.exe directly. The problem with that is that we cannot find an entry in the registry (Local Machine Hive) to point us to that exe.

Any suggestion please.
