no factory templates available

Hi,

I just started with Flare and wanted to follow the getting started videos.
But I can't find the "my projects" folder on my disk. Consequently, the factory templates are missing as well.
After reinstalling it still didn't show up.

Does anybody have an idea how to get the factory templates?

What version of Windows are you running?
In my Windows 7 environment, I now look in:
C:\Users\<my name>\Documents\My Projects
You should be able to find it within "My Documents" for any version of Windows.

But I got a look at the "factory templates" by starting the New Project wizard and selecting a template from the list - I think the actual copies of the templates are somewhere in the "Program Files" folder.

I am running Windows 7 as well. Yes, that is the problem, under "my documents" and also in the program files there are no templates stored.
I was wondering if I maybe missed a step during the installation process where it asks me if I want the templates. That's why I reinstalled it. But still, no files anywhere my machine.

There is no question about templates during installation, so yo haven't missed anything.

But have you tried the wizard? Maybe Flare builds them when they are requested.
Try File > New Project ... > and start the New Project Wizard
then you'll see a list of possible templates.

Once you create an example from a template, only then it is saved in "My Projects".
