I'm noticing that when I check in a lot of files at once, Flare sometimes splits them into two changesets. And in that case, my checkin comment is only applied to one of the changesets - the other appears with no comment at all. That's obviously unacceptable!
TFS changesets and checkin comments
TFS changesets and checkin comments
I've had my Flare source checked into TFS for years, but have just recently started using Flare's source control binding. (Before, I checked files in and out, moved or added them in TFS/Visual Studio, then worked on them with Flare.)
I'm noticing that when I check in a lot of files at once, Flare sometimes splits them into two changesets. And in that case, my checkin comment is only applied to one of the changesets - the other appears with no comment at all. That's obviously unacceptable!
How can I fix it so that Flare either checks everything in together, or at least applies the comment to all changesets?

Re: TFS changesets and checkin comments
I have always had the same exact problem. The only thing I could do was to go into TFS and update the other checkin with a similar comment.

Re: TFS changesets and checkin comments
Because of this issue, I've stopped using Flare to check files in and out. That makes the source control binding well-nigh useless, so I haven't bound any of my projects except for the initial one where I found this issue.
I don't believe I ever submitted this to MadCap as a defect, so I'll go do that now.

I did submit it, and MadCap Tech Support has requested a remote session with me, which I haven't gotten around to scheduling.
