I'm a Flare newbie and I've got a project layout I'd like to save for a particular project, so I can restore it each time I open that project. I've tried Windows > Layouts > Save WIndow Layouts as the help suggests. When the project reopens it claims to be using my saved layout, but it isn't.
The layout I set up is based on the standard layout, plus an extra panel between the left hand one (Project Organiser, Content Explorer etc) and the main document window. In the extra panel, I have put all my TOCs for that project. But when I reopen the project, the TOCs open, but are just displayed in the main document window, so I have to move them back to where I want them. How can I save a window/project layout that retains the open TOCs in my preferred layout?
You may wonder why I want easy access to all my TOCs, or even why I have so many TOCs in one project. I'm working on an Installation Guide that has five different variants, which are different enough to need five different TOCs (most content reuse is at the snippet level, not the topic level). I need quick and easy access to them all in one place for my own sanity. Otherwise, by the time I've located the TOC, I've forgotten what change I wanted to apply to it.
