merging a bullet or numbered list

I have imported several docs into Flare and the bullet and numbered lists are not merged.

Is there an easier way of merging them than clicking on 'ul' or 'ol' for each line and clicking "Merge with ..." dozens of times?

Dont think so, but if you find a way please let me know. I hate having to do this.
