drop down styling

Dear madcaps,
I have not set the style for my dropdowns but it seems to be adopting formatting from somewhere - some of it looks like hyperlink visited and not. Where are or what are the rules here?

A "dropdown hotspot" is nothing else but a link, means: the a tag. that's where it comes from.
Just create your own pseudo classes for the a.mcdropdownhotspot ... I think that's what it's called ... or so ...
