Turn off updater

I need to turn off the updater on Flare 8. We are using a virtual environment and we can't have the software notifying users that there is an update because they cannot apply it. How do I turn this off? Thanks.

Uhm...apply the update and the issue should be resolved....plus you get an updated app? I update apps in VMs on a daily basis, so that's not the cause. Is it that the users do not have administrative rights to install the update? The only other suggestion I have is to contact MadCap support and ask them if there is a registry key you can modify that makes Flare stop checking for updates.

Enter a bug report. I did ages ago and so far nothing changed. the more people ask for it, the higher the probability for it to be fixed.
