Flare Ignoring Print Medium - Using Default

Post by rmdavidson »

I found a similar issue (Myriad Pro Cond font not working for print medium http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewto ... f=6&t=7358), but I am also having other issues so I'm making a new topic.

Although I am not using Myriad Pro, I am having the same issue in 7.2 where I changed the font from Verdana to Book Antiqua just so it is something obviously different and there was no change. There was also no change when I tried Cooper Black. Everything is still Verdana. I changed the Target's Stylesheet Medium to Print under Advanced. I've looked in both the Advanced and Simplified View of the print medium in the stylesheet and I see the change there, but not when I view the PDF Output. I've also added a bottom border to the H1 so it is underlined all the way across the page the same as in the WebHelp, but the underline is not there. It is also not creating a page break before the H1 tag despite my specifying that and the topics all still follow one right after the other on the same page.

Any ideas? This is my first PDF output.

Thanks ahead of time!

Where is your style sheet assigned (to the topic, target or project)?

I have gone into the Targets and assigned a medium, but they are all by project using a Master Stylesheet.

I have managed to resolve most issues, by un-checking "Use TOC depth for heading levels" which I didn't think sounded relevant to my issues, but apparently at least partly was. I even scripted some of my own code in the internal editor, but I put exactly what the WYSIWYG controls had. However, my images aren't aligning centered for some reason. Well, actually, some are and some aren't and they have the same styles applied. Also, I changed the font for my tables and it is refusing to change even though I see it in the internal text editor and have even added fonts to make a list of options rather than just one font. I'm using the same font as my paragraphs and lists use in the rest of the document.
