TOC compute children is false

Post by DanielleG »

I'm a relatively new user of Flare so maybe this question has been addressed before but I can't seem to find it.

I'm generating a PDF some of the topics aren't appearing as children of the chapters as they should but instead at chapter level. When I go into the master TOC and look at the grid view, I can see that for the two chapters where I have this issue the "Compute Children" field shows the value False. How can I change this so that the children that I have placed in my TOC for these two chapters are reflected as such? And if you have any idea how I might have gotten myself into this situation, then please let me know.

Thanks.

In your PDF target settings Advanced tab, do you have Use TOC depth for heading levels checked?

Also, at what level are these topics within the TOC?

There are several things you can check in your CSS heading PDF settings, too. Let's start with the first questions. :)
