Anyone have any insight as to why the Favoutites accordion pane/tab has been dropped from the HTML 5.0 output?
It is fairly standard browser behaviour to have a favourites functionality.
While I didn't use it all of the time, there are certain parts of the help where I found it very useful and used it quite a lot.
Any comments?
I am thinking of logging a support request on this...
Favourites Missing From HTML 5.0 Output
Re: Favourites Missing From HTML 5.0 Output
At a guess, it's probably because you can bookmark a HTML5 topic using your browser, so don't really need a favourites accordion.
The Favourites was useful for WebHelp because you couldn't bookmark an individual topic in the browser; it'd just bookmark the help start page URL instead.

Thanks for your comments Dave.
You are probably right as to why the option was taken away.
However, that assumes you will always be using the HTML 5.0 output in a standard browser. If you are loading the HTML 5.0 output into an embedded window in your app, or into a separate container exe as we do, then this is basically a loss in functionality...

Yep, absolutely, some of our products deliver WebHelp in a similar manner; I was just guessing why it'd changed.
