I haven't found any specs for the icon you can insert in a WebHelp toolbar (in place of the madcap icon). I've just been pixel-pushing, trying to make our image line up correctly, without overlapping the margins of the toolbar. I set the toolbar to have a gradient, which might be part of the problem. We just want our product name to look like part of the toolbar.
Any suggestions?

You need to edit the skin you're using. In Version 8:
1. Open the Primary Target, click General, and click the Edit button for the skin.
2. In the Skin Editor, click Styles, expand ToolbarItem, and select Logo.
3. In the Properties window, expand General and select the Icon entry to display a list of images.
4. Scroll to the top of the list and select Browse for Image....
5. Send Kwag a dozen chocolate-chip cookies.

Re: creating an icon for the WebHelp toolbar
Sorry, no cookies yet! I've already replaced the logo, but I'm not happy with the way it looks. I'm looking for the specs--size, etc., and how to make it blend in with the toolbar. I ended up capturing an image of the toolbar and adding our text over it, then had to tweak it repeatedly to make it line up vertically with the top and bottom borders of the toolbar. There MUST be a better way!
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: creating an icon for the WebHelp toolbar
Couple of suggestions:
1) Use a transparent colour for the background of your image, so the toolbar background shows through (and you don't need to line it up). You'd need to have an image in PNG or GIF format, as these support transparent colours (formats like JPG and BMP do not). Chances are that someone in your company will have a version of the logo with a transparent background (e.g. used on a website). If not, you can produce one yourself; don't use Paint though, you need something that supports transparent colours - e.g. GIMP is free.
2) If your image doesn't fit, you can change the toolbar height in the skin.
