Hi everyone,
Not sure which forum is the best for this issue so "getting started" looked closest.
Anyway, I'm an independent contractor that's using Flare 8 to update a documentation set that was imported from FrameMaker 11. This is my first Flare project.
My cross references in Frame look the way I'd like them to them in the final output "see Heading Name" on page X". In Flare they show up as "{jump}Header Name (see page 1){Default ¹ Font}" with the Jump and Default Font notations appearing in the actual project output.
How do I fix this? Is it an import issue? A style sheet issue? Can I use search and replace to remove the offending codes?
I appreciate any help to point me in the right direction!

You don't have the delete button [X] alongside the edit button in your posts?

Evil!
But seriously, strange that this isn't a basic level function.

I see the delete [X] next to the Edit button ONLY if my post is the last in the thread. Otherwise it disappears.
EDIT: - except on this one - go figure!

...and the only place I see delete [X] is in PMs.
Reframing... this will make me a better/more careful poster because I can't delete my messages (well, I can edit them).

Re: Cross-reference question from a Flare Newbie
Maybe it's tied to the poster's level (excluding MVPs), which is tied to the number of posts the user has submitted. Maybe that's why Margaret sees the X but sdcinvan doesn't (yet). That might be a protection thing to make sure spammers and pranksters can't come in on the bottom level and start deleting posts. By the time you're a second level up, we've presumably decided whether or not we want to keep you around and you then get a new set of options.
