Preparing for Kindle Mobi.

It's taken a while, but with help from many of you, we've made great strides in producing Kindle mobi files. It's a tad long winded, but basically from Flare 8 we create a Word file, save it as a Web Page (Filtered) and do the final conversion with Calibre. Images come out centred and magnifiable, even the Apple Mac glyphs display correctly, and overall, it's way better than we'd ever hoped to achieve.

But we do have one problem, and cannot locate where the root cause lies.

The Kindle's navigation control allows skipping to and from "Chapters", and in this case a new chapter is (theoretically) at the h1 and h2 level. However, while it will go forward and back correctly with some chapters, with others it will go to a Topic within the chapter instead. I hasten to add that these topics are all level h3 or above.

We've been through everything as far as we can to see if we can locate the cause, but whatever it is, is totally eluding us.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?
