Greetings
I'm a Flare newbie, but have several years experience with RH. I am on Flare v8.1.2
I am designing the new HTML5 skin, and in the skin editor (Styles > TocEntry) have specified custom images for the OpenBook, ClosedBook, TopicIcon, and MarkAsNewIcon - but these images do not show in the generated output. I am using 16x16 images, and have tried in GIF, PNG and BMP format. The images that ARE displayed are the bog-standard blue book/ topic icons. Am I missing a property somewhere to enable my own images? Or is this a bug?
...
I can add some more info to this. Upon inspection of the Output, none of my custom graphics are present in the Skins > Default > Stylesheets > Images folder. As a 'just in case' I have re-opened the skin editor and done a Save All. The correct images are shown in the skin editor and preview correctly. Building the HTML5 Project excludes them for some reason?
Anyone know of a workaround? Or what I might be overlooking?
Custom Images in HTML5 skin
Re: Custom Images in HTML5 skin
In the skin, try editing the same icon settings in Navigation Panel > TOC. That should work.
As for the icon settings you found in TocEntry, I think you use those when you add a new TocEntry class; e.g. to have different icons for a particular item in the TOC.
I've not idea why it's organised like that, it's confusing to say the least.

I had this same issue while setting up my first Flare skin. If memory servers, I think it had to do with the way I (incorrectly) added images to the project. Did you add the images in the Skin Editor by using the Browse for Images option of the menu for each TocIcon image?

@Dave Lee: you, sir, are a genius.
Thank you - that is exactly what I needed. After changing the images in Styles > Navigation Panel > TOC, everything works perfectly. And yes, it is very confusing - and the otherwise fantastic MCHelp didn't enlighten me on this.
@kwag_myers: thank you for your advice. yes - i have been using Browse for Images. ...wasn't aware there was another way of doing it, and now I won't bother looking for shortcuts. 'Browse for' it is and shall remain.

Re: Custom Images in HTML5 skin
I was trying to replace the image files in some of the folders where I thought the system was pulling them from (as was the practice with my former tool). One thing to keep in mind is that if you edit the image you have to use the Browse for Images again to replace it.RonM63 wrote: @kwag_myers: thank you for your advice. yes - i have been using Browse for Images. ...wasn't aware there was another way of doing it, and now I won't bother looking for shortcuts.
