On a couple of new topics that I've created in my project, the search is returning funky results. When I search for a term that would appear in the topic, a completely unrelated topic appears in the search...but it either links to the topic that I wanted in the first place or gives me a blank page.
For example:
I'm searching for "DWR" to get the "Double Wall Ring" topic. "Peltier System" topics appear in the search results. Clicking on one of them gives me a Double Wall Ring topic.
The title of the topics in the Properties is correct. Regenerating the project doesn't help. I'm not sure what else to do.
Thanks for your help!
Forgot to mention, I'm using V7 with Windows 7.

Re: Search returning incorrect topics
Turns out that the issue WAS the topic properties. To get to the topic properties, I was right-clicking on the topic in the TOC and changing the label in the General tab. Instead, I needed to open the topic and then right-click and change the Topic Title in the Topic Properties.

Unfortunately, all is not corrected
I have a topic that is appearing twice in the search results now. One is linked correctly, and one is linked to a blank page. Any idea how to get rid of the blank page?
Re: Search returning incorrect topics
You didn't indicate whether you tried running the Clean Project option before regenerating your output. I forget where this is in the version 7 menu bar. Certainly something to try!

I just tried running the Clean Project option before regenerating, and it didn't fix it. Any other ideas?
Re: Search returning incorrect topics
Sure, display the blank page in the Help output. If you are using IE, right click the topic pane, and select Properties (other browsers have similar options). Note the address/URL shown (you may need to click/drag over the path to scroll the entire URL), and then compare that to the URL displayed for the 'legitimate' topic. I am guessing they are not the same and you actually have two files in your project, one of which needs to be located and deleted, perhaps at the file system level. Good luck!

Yep! There was a duplicate topic in the project. Thanks!
