How do you specify the heading levels in the TOC that shows up in the navigation pane of the HTML5 help?
In know that in print output, you specify the mc-heading-level-property for the heading for it to show up in the print Table of Contents. But if I want h1, h2, and h3 to be in the TOC of HTML5 help, what do I do? Thanks.
Including headings in HTML5 TOC
Re: Including headings in HTML5 TOC
I called tech support and found the answer to this question. The following steps will let you display different levels of headings in the navigation pane (Contents pane) of an online output (e.g., HTML5 help):
1. Use the Target editor to open the desired target.
2. Select the topics that you want headings to show in the Contents pane.
3. Right click and select Properties.
4. In the Properties dialog box, select Auto-generate.
5. In the Auto-generate dialog box, do the following:
a. Enable "Compute sub-entries...."
b. In the Action section, select "Replace...."
c. In the Depth section, choose the lowest level heading to be included in the navigation.
6. Click OK, then rebuild the target.

Re: Including headings in HTML5 TOC
Thank you fchan for sharing this info.
I have been struggling with a similar issue for weeks.
Several topics I was working on would generate correctly for PDF but the TOC in the html help did not display the same heading depth as the PDF.
