Bug: Unable to View Scroll Bar in Topic Window in Flare
Posted: Fri Jan 18, 2013 9:58 am
I imported a Help and Manual file by exporting the Help and Manual file to a .chm file, then I imported that file into Flare. For the most part, it has been working OK. It imported as tables and I have deleted those along with the <span> tags that are causing a lot of trouble in the output.
I give this background just in case it means something, but the real problem is with some of the topics. In a few of my topics I am not able to view a scroll bar in the topic window pane (the place where you write the content). There is text below the portion of the window that I see and it is available in the output. I cannot even use my directional keys to move the screen down. I am able to reach the text using the directional keys, but that does not do me any good for editing purposes. When I delete content, the hidden information moves up the screen. I have tried deleting all of the information in the topic and starting all over. I am reluctant to delete any topics because they are linked to others and most of the links created in the Help and Manual file work well. I am under a very tight deadline so a new topic is not the best option (maybe not an option at all).
My biggest concern is that my entire file is corrupt and I will have to start all over again
Thanks for your help!
