How does one get a topic that is not a part of a TOC to not be a part of the serach results in a Help project?

For example, I have a topic that contains the word 'junk'. This topic is NOT a part of a TOC. When I build my Help project for that TOC and do a search on the word "junk", the topic that contains the word "junk" shows up in the search results.

How do I get around this?

I am using Flare 8.1.2.

In the topic properties, on the Topic Properties tab, clear the check box for "Include topic when full-text search database is generated". This will exclude the topic from search.
