Don't break part number at hyphen...

Post by ajturnersurrey »

I have a part number that comes up in my documents

ABC-tyuy-89-090

How do I stop it from wrapping to a new line at a hyphen?

I tried putting it in a span with mc-hyphenate:never and text-wrap:none .... but this doesn't seem to have the desired effect.

Any other suggestions?

Use a non-breaking hyphen character?

I was wary of using a non-breaking hyphen in case Flare didn't recognise it, as its not available to insert as a character from the XML editor window.

However, ‑ did the trick.

Thanks
