ePub Numbering Issue

When I generate an ePub from Flare, the procedural numbering sequences start over at #1 if I have a graphic or a note after a numbered step. Is there a way to correct this? I am using a free ePub reader (reader for PC). Appreciate any info.

Does it happen in other outputs or just the ePub one?

Just the ePub

Then the first thing that comes to mind is to look in the stylesheet under whatever medium you're using for ePub and see if something was set/not set for that auto-number format.

Or are you not using an auto-number format and just using HTML lists (ol/ul tags)?

Thanks, Tinker. I'll poke around a bit. If it's not a common issue, I'm sure I have something misconstroodled :)

This is a guess.

Are the Note paragraphs and the paragraphs holding the images within the list? Or do you stop the list, insert a paragraph or two, then start a new list? If that's what you're doing, that might be the root of the problem.

Thanks for all the help, guys. It was the reader, not Flare. I switched to Adobe Digital Editions from Sony's Reader for PC, and the numbering is fine. Thanks again, ~HW
