I have an extra wide monitor that is capable of rotating into portrait mode. I would like to use Flare in portrait mode so I have lots of depth for split screen mode (in which you view the XML and text editors stacked on top of each other). But when I rotate my monitor and set the display mode to portrait, Flare only fills up about half the screen---the other half is black. It seems to be retaining the same height as it had in landscape mode. I have tried resnapping Flare's window to full screen, and I've tried pulling the bottom down to fill the whole screen, but it will only go so far, and the rest remains black. Has anyone had any luck using Flare in portrait mode, or is this a limitation of Flare?
Thanks,
Alison

Re: Orient Flare in portrait mode on vertical monitor
I wonder if you need to reset the window layout to make it readjust to the monitor size? Seems like using the maximize button would work, but you could give the reset option a try.

Re: Orient Flare in portrait mode on vertical monitor
I just tested this and did not experience the problem described.
Using a Dell 24 as the main and a Dell 22 as the secondary.
I was able to Maximise Flare and it used the entire screen. I then restored Flare and stretched the framework to use the entire monitor.
Please excuse the poor picture quality - I used my phone.
Because the rest of the screen is black - I wonder if any other applications can use up the entire screen? Is sounds like the resolution is preventing this from happening.
Make sure in your display settings you have "Extend These Displays" selected.

Right click the desktop -> select Screen Resolution -> Advanced Settings -> Adaptor Settings tab -> Properties -> Driver tab.
