VS SourceSafe and the UserData.fluserzip File

Post by Robotman »

Not a concern, just a query.

Whenever I check a project into visual studio sourcesafe, the UserData.fluserzip file is always listed as a file to check in. Can anyone shed light on why the file always needs to be checked in?

By looking at the contents, it just seems to list the primary target for the project:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<CatapultUser PrimaryTarget="/Project/Targets/webhelp.fltar" />

If you've manually added the project to source control, you don't need to include that file.
If you bind the project to source control via Flare (rather than using VS), it won't include anything in Project/Users.
