Hi - I have included a couple of PDFs in my Help output - set up via an External Resources folder. When I generate a build via Flare (both HTML and web help), all is fine and I can see the PDFs in the Contents and view them ok. However, when I upload the files to the server and the Help goes 'live' I can't see the PDFs. Other changes I made at the same time can be seen but not the PDFs.
Any idea what might be the issue here?
Using Flare 7 btw. Thanks - Ian

Re: PDFs not appearing in Web Help
AN UPDATE:
Problem seems limited to IE9 (haven't tried other versions of IE) - Help displays fine in Firefox and Chrome.

Is it possible it has something to do with your Web browser settings?

Thanks for the link. It was a caching issue but I'm not sure why it only seemed to affect IE where in the case of Firefox and Chrome it just worked!
Pity the majority of our customers use IE!

The caches are separate for each browser. I see caching issues with FF all the time, but that is because this is my main browser. Caching is all nice, but it often generates more problems than it solves.

Re: PDFs not appearing in Web Help
For IE, deleting the output folder before building seems to work because it tricks the browser into thinking it's going to a new site so it doesn't load anything from cache.
For FF, this doesn't work, or at least it doesn't work for changes to the skin. Apparently it's not as easy to fool as IE. When I make changes to the skin now, I'm having to check in IE first to see if it works, and if it does, then I'll go through the trouble of deleting the history in FF so I can reload the help and verify my skin changes look ok. It didn't seem like this used to be a problem initially, so I don't know if it's later versions of Flare made it harder or if later versions of FF made it harder.
