How does one handle inserting tabs ito Flare?
How does one handle inserting tabs ito Flare?
I am using Flare 9.1.1. I am unsure how Flare handles tab stops. I like the way Word handles them on the ruler, but can't find where Flare handles tabs. Currently, I am having to insert text into table cells - which is becoming cumbersome. Any suggestions out there?

To the best of my knowledge, Flare does not support tab stops -- or, more precisely, CSS does not support tab stops.
Tell us more about what you're trying to accomplish so that we can suggest CSS-based options.

Thanks for responding and trying to help. I have attached a small sample of what I am trying to do. Basically, I guess if CSS doesn't handle tabs, then maybe my solution is to use columns????? Is that possible in Flare?LynnH wrote:I am using Flare 9.1.1. I am unsure how Flare handles tab stops. I like the way Word handles them on the ruler, but can't find where Flare handles tabs. I would use a table without borders.

Nah, HTML and browsers do not really have anything for simple tabs. Can use a table as noted previously or use DIVs....table is the way easier approach and works fine unless you have incredibly long tables. For very long tables first all table contents are loaded by the browser, then the column widths are determined, and then the table with contents gets drawn. So for a table the entire table needs to load first before it can be displayed. DIVs get rendered as they come in. In this day and age it should really only make a difference if you go past a few hundred rows.
