Importing XML

is that possible to import XML to Flare?

is there any kind of plugin or add-on for Visual Studio to create a document from comments?

Does anyone have an answer to this yet?

I have a large set of xml files that needs to be imported into Flare on a daily basis.

My predecessor tried converting the files first to html, then importing, but it didn't work. Most importantly, it's way to clunky and time consuming. We need to be able to get xml files imported on a regular basis in order to make this project work in Flare.

According to the release notes, this is supposed to be possible, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

Any suggestions?

I think the short answer might be that you can't import XML, but it'd help to explain what you mean by 'importing XML' and what you are trying to achieve.

For example:

- Do you just want to add raw XML files in a project, or display XML in a topic (e.g. as examples)?

- Do you expect Flare to understand the XML files and translate them into XHTML topic files?
Flare will not translate any XML for you; XML files can contain any information that you want, and Flare wouldn't know their structure or how to translate them to XHTML.
