I have a question about a deleted conditional tag.
I deleted a tag from the StandardConditionTag set. Created and HTML5 output. The first error that appears says "Error validating conditional expression: Unrecognized tag: StandardConditionTags.Future_Enhancements"
I have done a Find for the whole project to see if the tag is in a topic, No.
I closed Flare a few times and re-opened, No change.
It's not really doing any harm to the output; I just don't understand why a deleted tag would still throw up an error message when it is not in the conditional tag set. The screenshot is from the Conditional Text tab in the Target. If I scroll up to the Tags list in the Target, the Future_Enhancements tag is not there. What is going on here? If the tag is not there why give the error.
unrecognized tag

Re: unrecognized tag
The reference to the tag might still be sitting in the Target. I'd open the target in the text editor and check that way. I think when you do a search it only looks in the Content.

Re: unrecognized tag
Are you using the Basic or Advanced way of defining what conditional text is in/excluded?
Just above where you see the error message of your screenshot, you can choose Basic/Advanced: If you choose Advanced, you can edit the condition at the bottom (in the red box). Within there, a deleted condition tag could survive. You have to correct this manually.
I think this problem is clearly related to the target, but images could have tags as well, and those are not found by a find/replace, probably because they cannot be opened as text. I had this problem and found them by using Analyzer.
I had similar trouble after deleting a tag - hope my hints help you in fixing this.
regards, Lydia.

Re: unrecognized tag
Ah, that did help.
I switched back and forth from the basic and advanced. It was set on Advanced, have no idea when I did that. I manually removed the tags from the list that I had deleted and were still in the list. Error is gone.
Thanks,
Doug
