Greetings
Please can anyone help? Question relates to HTML5 help.
When opening a CSH topic in our hosted environment, which used a hardened version of IE9, the 'Open topic with navigation' link is missing. This means that
that the help cannot be navigated; If you open the help from the home page it works fine.
When running in a non-hosted environment everything works fine regardless if you open the topic as CSH or via the home page.
The application calls the help from a folder in the installation location.
Is there a script or other control that senses whether the topic is not open in the skin and therefore displays the open with nav link?

'Open topic with navigation' link is missing
Re: 'Open topic with navigation' link is missing
It's a skin option - see the help here:

Thanks Dave - this isn't the solution. I have Mark of the Web enabled, and I have the Show link ticked in the skin. Everything works fine in a standard browser.
However, in our hosted environment we have a locked-down version of IE that seems to be ignoring the Mark of Web instruction: when opening a context sensitive topic, IE gives the warning about running scripts (so is ignoring the MoW), but then displays the topic but with no navigation. My understanding is that the 'Show' link is created via javascript? And that the MoW basically tells IE that scripts are safe to run?
After talking to the developer much of yesterday, I think we have come to the conclusion that the problem probably lies in the IE security settings rather than in the help - especially as MoW is already enabled. We don't have the option of using a different browser in the environment
Are there any folks out there that know about the IE security settings (app'ly there are hundreds of them) and particularly what we need to enable?
Thank you
Ron

Re: 'Open topic with navigation' link is missing
Mark of the Web is only for viewing help on a local machine. It's a workaround to a security setting that prevents programs from running content on your local computer. It tricks the local computer into thinking it's viewing a website on a hosted server instead of your computer. If you have MOTW enabled on output that's on an actual server, then you'll get problems.
You need to have two targets, one that has MOTW enabled and one that doesn't. The one with it enabled is for distributing with your product and for running the help on the user's computer. The target without MOTW is what you upload to your hosted server.
