Using variable in HTML5 skin caption

Post by flashk »

I'd like to use a variable as the "Caption" for my HTML5 skin. I created a variable called Title in the Primary variable set. Then I entered "[%=Primary.Title%]" in the caption field, however it doesn't replace the text with the variable value. This works correctly with the HTML Help skin. Are variables not supported with HTML5 captions or am I specifying the variable incorrectly?

Variables are not supported in the Skin > Caption Field.
A feature for this has been created, hopefully we can get that implemented in a future release.

It would also be nice to use variables in glossary terms and definitions, too.
