Flare apparently treats pdf outputs as completely separate from Webhelp outputs, but we want to combine them. With our "old" online help system, some of our topics included links that pointed to pdf files. We created the pdfs by converting Word documents. Is there an easy way in Flare Webhelp topics to link to pdf files we also create in Flare?
When we author pdfs in Flare, we have to use a separate target (different from the Webhelp target) to create the pdf output, so the pdf file itself isn't included in our project files. (Or is it?)
Any suggestions?

Re: Webhelp output pointing to a pdf
Have you tried to use a hyperlink with an external file as target?
The link probably does not work within Flare (haven't tried to get this working), but does in the output (if the target is set correctly).
More info is the Help TOC: Features > Styles and Stylesheets > Regular Stylesheets > Editing Text Hyperlinks
