It would be nice to be able to change the master page of the entire HTML5 page. Currently the master page works on the topic,
but if I want to generate a border, padding, alignment etc, to the entire HTML5 page it is not possible, as far as I can see.

The Advanced Tab on the HTML5 target allows you to set the master page for the whole target. Anything you set on a specific topic would override that master page for the topic only. Is that what you are looking for?

I believe, that the Master Page on the Advanced tab is a Master Page for the Topic contents.
E.g. if I'm trying to set a footer to the Master Page this will be included in all the topic contents, but not for the entire HTML5 page.

Oh I see. I don't have any HTML5 outputs at present, just the ordinary WebHelp. I didn't realise there was more than that to HTML5. Sorry!

The HTML5 page/container is the skin. I'm guessing you've already tried using the skin editor, and haven't been able to set the styles you want.
I have found a way to add a stylesheet to the HTML5 skin, which would let you adjust some styles that you wouldn't normally be able to set using the skin editor.
If you are experienced with HTML/CSS, this might work for you.

Re: Change master page for entire HTML5 help
The problem is, that I want the HTML5 Help to look the same as our web page. This will require that I can center the HTML5 help on the page, make it e.g. 80% wide, add a page background etc. Therefore it would be logical for me to have an overall master page that controlled where on the page to put or insert the HTML5 help content.
Is there some HTML code or script I can manually change to get this control, since it is not possible through the skin?
