Does anyone know if it is possible to print out annotations with topics?
When I make a PDF, the annotations disappear. They also disappear if I print using File > Print. Is there a setting that enables me to turn them on?

Not that I know of.
I put in a feature request for this quite a while ago. If you think it's important, please do so, too!

Glad I found this post and someone else wants this feature.
Disappointing to find out but I am also going to submit a feature request.
Thanks!

Does anyone know if this feature has been added yet? Since most of the replies to this post are a few years old, I thought it might have been added in Flare v11.
If not, does anyone have any workarounds? I noticed in a somewhat related topic PDF of ONE topic that Marjorie (Msquared ) mentioned:
Thanks!

And I see that annotations are actually a style (MadCap|annotations) and that they are in the .htm files, but I don't see how Flare is removing it from the output to try and play around with it.I also use my Review stylesheet, rather than my normal print one, which has a few more styles to allow me to show comments and annotations that are always hidden in the other (production) targets.
Thanks!
Robert

No, not added in Flare 11.
But if you would like to PM me with your email address, I'll send you a copy of an article I wrote for the ISTC Communicator magazine about how I have set up a stylesheet to implement review annotations that can be included or excluded from outputs as you choose.
