Hi,
I have had a read through many of the miniTOC posts but haven't found anything to answer my problem as yet.
I have a series of topics like this in my TOC:
Topic 1
Content 1
Content 1
Content 1
Topic 2
Content 2
Content 2
Content 2
Topic 3
Content 3
Content 3
Content 3
The problem -- The miniTOC works for topics 1 and 2, but nothing at all shows up for topic 3 miniTOC (i can only see the heading).
All of these pages are linked to topics and all of them have miniTOC inserted into the top-level 'topic' pages (e.g., Topic 1, Topic 2, Topic 3 in the above list).
I have no idea why the miniTOC isn't working the same for different topics. From what I can see, they don't have different conditions either.
Does anyone have any idea please?
Thanks,
Avril
MiniTOC only sometimes shows
Re: MiniTOC only sometimes shows
I seem to have solved my own problem and learnt something about Flare at the same time.
To share my solution..
I didn't realise that I had accidentally applied chapter breaks to all the sub-pages in the third section.
It would appear that for the miniTOC it is for any topics in that 'chapter' (for print manual). Resultingly, if you add a chapter break to any of the sub-pages Flare doesn't recognise it as being in the same 'chapter' in the TOC but rather, the break overrides its position in the TOC.
So basically, change each of the sub-pages to either page break or 'none' and voila - it works! (Phew!)
