My Layout Reset Itself

Post by erinep23 »

Suddenly, for no apparent reason that I can think of, Madcap decided to switch to this layout and now I have this black toolbar that I didn't have before. What is this called, and how can I remove it? Thanks!

From the Layout drop-down list, select your layout. That should do it.

Did you install the upgrade/patch to v9.1.2?

Did the Windows desktop theme change? Flare will most likely pick up the settings specified there. If you have a different program with ribbon (such as MS Office) you would see the same.

Doh! You are so right. It's not the layout that changed, it's the color of the interface. Gosh, how many of us "MVPs" does it take to change an interface?
