Dimensions of .svg background image in Master page layout???

Whaaa....???
I made a small edit to my .svg background image in Adobe Illustrator, saved it and now the PDF size is about 10x larger than it used to be.
But in the Frame Properties, I can only control background color, image selection, position, and repeat and in the .flpgl xml source, I don't see where I can add dimension settings to the image. What the heck? BTW, no amount of shrinking of the Illustrator image changes its dimensions in Flare... that is to be expected because it is a vector image.
Why did it grow in size and how do I fix the size back to what I had before?
Next step, I will see if I can set the dimensions somewhere in Illustrator.

Have you been able to solve this issue? I too am experiencing a similar issue with my .svg file. I changed the colour of my image and it exploded in size! I'm running Flare 9 and 10. For now, I'm still using the original image without the colour change.

Hello,
I am sorry, that was ages ago. Usually, I am in a habit of providing more information and follow-ups on threads. This thread must have gotten away.
Since this issue, I think my use of .svg is extremely limited now because Flare's support for vector images, like .svg, seems rather poor. The only place where I am using a .svg image is where my company logo is used. My company logo was created in Illustrator and it's parameters are set as a very large image. However, it appears perfectly fine in PDF output.
Believe me, I would rather use .svg, were applicable but with Flare, I found that .png (at 300 DPI) makes life a whole lot easier.
If you can offer some more details about your issue, I (and others) are sure to help out.

I completely forgot about this thread!
I had created a custom bullet (circle.svg) back when Flare started supporting svg and our bullets were rendering correctly in our outputs (PDF and HTML5).
Now, due to changes to my company's style, i decided to update our flare template.
So using Illustrator CC, i opened the file and changed the colour and hit save.
When i opened Flare 10, the image just ballooned in size!
Until i can figure this out, I've gone back to using the original bullet image.

I am frustrated to say that, in general, Flare seems to handle vector images rather poorly. Currently, I have limited my documents to just one .svg (our corporate logo). It's been a long time but I seem to recall making the final .svg adjustments in InkScape (a free vector graphics tool) because of issues with Illustrator.
