When I output my revised project to PDF format, I get a series of errors that say "Missing Linked Source File."
I dutifully click and the topic that contains the messed up link is displayed. I think. But I cannot for the life of me find the bad link. I have looked and looked.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for fixing errors regarding "Missing Linked Source File?"

Re: Error: "Missing linked source file"
Have you looked within the code of that topic to see if it is linked to a style sheet that isn't present in the project? Just a thought.

Re: Error: "Missing linked source file"
I have discovered that if a snippet contains a link, then the topics which contain the snippet will result in this error message -- even though the linked topic is in the correct place from the snippet's point of view.
So in this case it seems we can ignore the error message.
In my view, the next problem is that you have to check every single one of those errors to make sure there isn't a REAL missing source file. :-/

Re: Error: "Missing linked source file"
I wouldn't expect any errors - Flare will (should) resolve any of these links (if they're within the project), i.e. it will modify the link path from your original snippet according to where that snippet is used.EileenP wrote:I have discovered that if a snippet contains a link, then the topics which contain the snippet will result in this error message -- even though the linked topic is in the correct place from the snippet's point of view.

What is the link causing problems?
