Tabs on Start Page

Hope thisis the correct topic area. I am a new user to Flare and somehow my page preferences have been reset after using an overhead projector, I normally use two screens to work. Where pages normally became tabbed and were easy to access, now they are opening new floating or docked pages. I still have a start page and it has 2 or 3 tabs, but I can't get other pages to become tabs. I had pushed my index page to the second screen for ease of use and can no longer get it back to the main Flare page. Also, my search functionality seems to be "broke". When I try to search for a word I know is in a topic, it immediately comes back with a Flare message and says "Reached the End of the Search" with small searching window directly behind it that does not seem to be working. I have the Options selected for "Whole Project" and "Topics" and I have "match case" unchecked just in case. It does not matter what word I put into the search.
I am wondering if something got corrupted and I need to reload the software?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Try resetting the window layout: Window > Layouts > Reset Window Layout... That should get things back.

I have tried resetting. Each new topic opens in a new window instead of a tab. Thanks for the suggestion, however.
