I upgraded one of my writers to a laptop. She reinstalled Flare--no problems. However, when she tries to get projects from Subversion, she gets an error. It occurs when she clicks the $ in the Browse Source Control Files dialog.

We can access the repository thorugh a browser or TortoiseSVN, but our work instructions/SOP requires we do it through Flare.

Flare gives her the following error. I don't understand the error. Has anyone seen this behavior before?

I haven't seen that error myself. The first thing I'd try is to see if someone else can acquire a working copy of the project in the SOP-prescribed way. If yes, then that would point to something being amiss on the original person's machine, rather than there being something wrong with the project in Subversion.

Oh, something else. Rather than click the $ sign, what happens when she clicks the + sign to expand the folder? After all, doesn't she need to do that so that she can then navigate to the .flprj?

Ah, just tested it (without getting the error). I see that she doesn't need to expand the folder, that by double-clicking the $ sign, the folder will expand and she'll see the .flprj.

Could it be a permissions thing, given the new laptop?
