Text wrapping in either bullets or <ul><li><p>

Post by CATERAF »

Hi,

I've found similar forum posts but haven't found one with quite what I'm after.

We have bullet points in our Flare topics (<ul><li>) that have more text than fits onto one line of an A4 page, so the text wraps onto the next line.
The problem is that the text doesn't wrap to stay inline with the bullet above it, it wraps as far left as it can go. The bullet point then gets lost amid the mass of text. An example is here:
BulletLostInWrappedText.PNG
This is more what I'm after:
BulletNotLostInWrapping.PNG
Do you have any idea how I can achieve this please?
Is it as simple as just adjusting the <ul><li><p> style?

Thanks :)

That's actually the default behaviour (if you had no styles set), so what have you set in the CSS to change it?

oh dear.. I'm not sure. I'll head to CSS and change things back to default and see if that makes a difference. Thanks :-)

got it! I had my list-style-position set to inside instead of outside.
Thank you for your feedback -- very helpful!
