Bullets After A Word Doc Import

Post by Bambina_Mena »

I imported a Word document into Flare. I can say that mostly everything came across looking good. My level 2 bullets (p.ListBullet2) are outdented and with a small dash as the bullet. When I look at the properties for p.ListBullet1, things are similar. However, p.ListBullet1 looks terrific (aligned slightly under standard text, a small circle bullet, etc.) How to fix p.ListBullet2? Can properties for p.ListBullet1 be copied into 2 and then changes made? How? Any help is appreciated.

If you are happy with one of the bullet lists you can do a find and replace on the second list style, changing it to the first.

If you want to use the first style for the basis of the second, making changes, you can open the style sheet in the text editor and copy the information between the opening and closing curly braces into the other list style.

Code: Select all

p.listbullet1{
<copy this information>
}

p.listbullet2{
<to here>
}
Make a backup first :wink:

Hi SteveS,
The copy (between swiggly brackets) was beautiful! Thanks so much. Such a simple fix and I struggle for a while. The people on these forums are fabulous.
