Hi,
I've already submitted a support ticket, but I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this - Flare crashes whenever I try to search with Find and Replace. I enter something into the Find field and click Find Next (or Find Previous or Find All) and down it goes. Every single time. I'm the guinea pig for an eight person group and this issue is preventing us from upgrading. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flare, applied the latest patch, but nothing helps. Has anyone else seen this? And if so, any suggestion? Thanks in advance!

Re: Flares 10 crashes on Find
Welcome to the forums!
About the only other thing I can think of quickly is checking Windows is up to date including the .net frameworks.
I'd check whether it happens in one project or several, and try a quick new project to see if you can find and replace in that.
Can you do a plain find? If you can, check the search results for anything unusual that might cause a replace to choke.

And, you could also check whether your Flare 9 colleagues can search your particular project without problems. It could be something in the project - it may even be something that Flare 10 has done to it.
And another thought, try deleting everything in the \Anlyzer, \Output and \Source control folders.
And a final thought, is your project under source control? If so, could the issue be with the checkout as Flare tries to update a file? You could try checking out all the files that are likely to be changed, so they are writable, or working on an unbound project?

Re: Flares 10 crashes on Find
I am also testing Flare 10 for our group. I was told by Madcap tech support that any projects bound to SVN would no longer work in Flare 9.x once opened in Flare 10, as Flare 10 will make some updates to SVN that are not compatible with Flare 9.x.

I'm getting this issue too, sometimes after several successful replacements, and sometimes on the first replacement attempt, but always with the same error:
