TOC wil not print when I generate PDF output

What would cause my TOC not to "print" to the PDF output. I've got it selected in the Project Properties window. As I'm trying this, it occurred to me that perhaps it is being generated but is located someplace else in the generated PDF (just not in the front)??!! Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure what you mean by the Project Properties window.

To have the TOC appear in the printed output, you need to create a topic and insert the tocProxy in that topic, then add that topic to the TOC file (via the TOC Editor) that your print output is using.
