"Related Topic" popup changed with version 10?

Why did the Related Topic popup changed with version 10?
And where can I change the layout?

Miriam, could you provide a little more information, maybe even a screencapture of the popup? What specific differences are you observing? Maybe that could help us point you in a direction...

On the left you can see how a related topic popup looked like before updating to version 10. If I remember correctly, the popup looked like this automatically without editing anything within the css.

On the right you can see how the related topic popup looks like after version update to version 10 (unfortunately). It seems to me as if I cannot change the appearance of "link_list_popup" via the css. It is a pity that the layout changed dramatically.

I see the same, also after installing the latest update (Flare 10.1). I would contact MadCap support about this.

Thanks for this posting: I also have experienced the same issue and posted earlier today before finding this.
I've just contacted MadCap and will hope for a workaround...

In Flare V9 and Flare V10 there are 2 stylesheets provided with each of the New Project templates.
In the HTML5 target, point it at the 'Modern.css' and it will show the white popup when clicking the control.

To control these use the MadCap|HelpControlMenu style in the CSS.

I can't find a 'Modern.css' anywhere. I created a new KB project, but the only stylesheet was 'styles.css'. I also searched C:\ without any luck.

Any suggestions where to look?

Edit: And of course now I find it by right-clicking > New > Stylesheet.

So, if I change the styling for MadCap|HelpControlMenu and MadCap|relatedTopics in the Modern.css located in

C:\Program Files (x86)\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V9\Flare.app\Resources\English\Templates\StyleSheets

those changes will show up in my project that uses the styles.css? Or do I need to copy it to my project? Or just copy those entries to my styles.css stylesheet?

Don't change the stylesheets in program files, set (or copy) the MadCap| styles in whatever stylesheet you use for your topics.

Is there a way to change the graphic that shows up next to related topics?

I tried adding a background image to the MadCap | helpControlMenu and that didn't do it.

MadCap|relatedTopics has a mc-image property (in stylesheet Advanced View).

@Dave - No matter how many images I put in the mc-image property, the original graphic displays. Is there some other property setting that needs to be set up to work with mc-image?

Changing just that one style (MadCap|relatedTopics) works for me. Worth checking your medium. Is the image you want stored in your project somewhere? Also the code generated might help - mine looks like this:
