controlling the size of the logo file

Post by udonna »

Hello,
I'm still in the sandbox phase and inserted a logo that was resized to the dimensions of the placeholder company logo that comes with the installation.
Even though it was resized to even less than the placeholder's file dimensions, the logo is too big when displayed in the output.
How is the size of the logo (top-left, above the navigation panel of the output html help) controlled?

Many thanks, Donna

Hi Donna, if you haven't yet tried this - change the Height property of the Header in the skin. It's 60px by default, I think.

Hi Lydia,

I had resized the logo using Photoshop to the pixel dimensions of the default company logo, but evidently this is not the way to go, or maybe I should note that for the print output these dimensions are fine, but when it comes to the HTML output it doesn't work.

From what you wrote understood the relation between the logo's height and the header real-estate--it was a "eureka moment" :) --and resized the logo's height so it would fit. (Kept the default of 60px for the header as it is proportional to the layout and the issue was with the logo not the header.)

Many thanks, Donna
