Hi,
I have a problem where my Print TOC somehow has centre-aligned itself. I didn't change any styles that I know of.. but I was fiddling around with the PDF Target.
The items in my TOC are aligned down the centre with the page numbers right-aligned.
But I don't know how I got it to do this or how to get it back?
I can't find anything in the manuals or with google searching.
Does anyone have any idea please?
Thanks,
Avril
Print TOC centre aligned problem
Re: Print TOC centre aligned problem
More than likely, you inadvertently changed the text-align attribute for one of the tags in your stylesheet. Unfortunately, there are a few places you might have done it, so you have to check them all. Alternatively, you could open the stylesheet in the Internal Text Editor and do a find in source code and look for text-align:center or text-align: center (can't remember if Flare adds the space or not). That'll find all instances where you centered the text, so you can see which one you need to adjust.
Possible places you might have centered text that would affect the printed TOC are the base <td> tag (the print TOC is normally generated in a table), the MadCap|tocProxy, the base <p> tags (although you'd see that in all your paragraphs), and the p.TOC1, p.TOC2, etc. tags.
