Image Map - Edit Blue Border
Image Map - Edit Blue Border
Hello All - I read a previous post in regards to removing the blue border in the image map however; I do not see the option to remove and/or change the color of the blue border in the image map. Please help.

Re: Image Map - Edit Blue Border
Ok. I created a new style class (No blue border)for the img and saved it. I selected border-botton-style and etc. to "none" and the border is still blue. In addition I changed the color to white and it's still blue. I need help!

Sorry that I've not used image maps, at least not in Flare. Anyone else lend a hand here?

A hotspot on an image map is a hyperlink, so it's probably inheriting the styles for hyperlinks. I haven't used image maps in awhile and can't exactly remember how to get rid of the border, although I don't think I had to modify the pseudo class styles, now that I think of it. If I recall, you had to set the border to 0, although none should do the same. Give that a try anyway (setting border to 0).

Thank you all for your suggestions. However, I was still unsuccessful with changing the color.

Open the output in any browser and press F12 to open the developer tools.
Inspect the link to see where the border is coming from.
I have seen where browsers will add these borders when clicking on any elements (IE).
Attach the CSS and Image to a response and we can take a look at the code to see if we can spot anything.
